For some, the sense of belonging to a team is just part of the job. For Dimitrina Todorova, Specialist Capacity Planning at Sopharma, it’s a personal choice – and a path to self-growth.
Dimitrina proudly accepts the title of “Ambassador of the Teamwork Value” and her nomination comes as no surprise. Behind it stands her dedication, collaborative spirit, and significant contribution to the development of a custom performance reporting system – an essential tool for improving efficiency.

Amid the dynamic rhythm of her work, Dimitrina has found time for reflection – on teamwork as a core value, and the subtle threads that connect professional progress with personal growth.
“Being a team player means being responsive and adaptable to your environment. It means taking responsibility – stepping up to lead tasks and projects while collaborating and supporting your colleagues. And it all starts with strong communication skills”, she shares.
Adaptability – the quiet superpower

When asked what she’s most proud of in her career, Dimitrina doesn’t point to a single project or award. Instead, she smiles and says:
“The journey I’ve taken – my consistency, my daily effort, and the way I’ve managed to adapt to change”.
Calm, disciplined, and fully committed to her work, Dimitrina believes that progress comes in small but steady steps. Qualities like patience and accountability have helped her grow – even in moments when circumstances weren’t in her favor.
The lessons hidden in mistakes
To Dimitrina, failure is nothing to fear. In fact, she sees it as one of the greatest teachers.
“It’s important not to view mistakes as failure, but as an opportunity to learn and evolve. When I face a challenge, I ask myself: ‘What can I learn from this?’, instead of blaming myself or others”, she says.
For her, mistakes are not a weakness. Recognizing that the lessons from setbacks are just as valuable as those from success is a personal philosophy that gives her strength.

One small moment that changed everything
Sometimes, life-changing opportunities arrive when we least expect them – and for Dimitrina, one such moment comes on an ordinary day.
“I vividly remember a moment that shaped my career path. It was a gloomy January morning. A meeting held over coffee turned into a conversation that opened a door and changed how I saw my own potential for growth”, she recalls with emotion.
That moment gave her even more motivation to learn, grow, and gain confidence. Because sometimes, all it takes is one “yes” to begin an exciting new chapter.
Who is Dimitrina outside her work?
“I’d say I’m just as proactive outside of work – I love experimenting and challenging myself”, she says.
Her favorite moments of peace include traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cooking.
And just like in her professional life, she finds value in relationships and in the trust that’s built along the way.
