Every day at work, we witness actions and attitudes that inspire us – colleagues who put heart, responsibility, and care into what they do, and who lead by example, creating a culture of trust and collaboration. These efforts deserve to be seen, celebrated, and shared.
That’s why, in 2023, we launched the Values Ambassador program – an initiative that gives Sopharma employees the chance to nominate
colleagues who truly embody our five core values:

Anita has been part of the Sopharma team for over 15 years. In her role within the Quality Directorate, she is responsible for reviewing the quality of the medicinal products manufactured by the company and for developing a system for managing risks related to product quality. She was nominated as an ambassador of the value of Care.

“Care is a personal conviction. It is not a fleeting feeling but a conscious choice to help, support, and encourage both people we know and those we do not. To me, care combines empathy, responsibility, selflessness, and attention to detail, allowing us to notice when someone needs support even before they ask for it”.

Over the past ten years, Ivan has built his professional journey within the Quality Control Department, progressing through several different roles along the way. Today, he and his team are responsible for the maintenance and qualification of laboratory equipment across the department. In 2025, Ivan was selected as an ambassador of the value Care.

“To me, Care is above all about mutual support and the way we treat the people around us. I have always believed that when we work together, we should help one another, share our knowledge and experience, and be there when someone needs assistance. In my view, that is what makes a team strong and successful.”

Petya has been part of the Sopharma team for 16 years. She works as a Technologist in the Active Substances Laboratory, where she contributes to the development and optimization of technologies for producing active substances derived from plants. Her role combines laboratory research, work in a manufacturing environment, and the preparation of documentation required for production and product registration.

In addition, Petya was selected as an Ambassador at Sopharma for value Teamwork.

“For me, teamwork means having a shared goal, strong communication, mutual support, and trust. It is important that everyone takes responsibility for their role, respects the opinions of others, and contributes to the common result. I believe that strong teams achieve more when they work as one.”

Radoslav has been part of the Sopharma team for eight years. As an Energy manager at the company’s facility in Sandanski, he is responsible for energy utilities, technical maintenance of equipment and machinery, and leading a team of eight people. In addition to being selected as an ambassador for the value Teamwork, he was also chosen as Sopharma’s Golden Ambassador for 2025, a recognition awarded by his colleagues.

“The thought that guides me at the start of every working day is connected to what is often called the Golden Rule: treat others the way you would like to be treated”.

It is in this simple yet powerful principle that Radoslav sees the true meaning of Teamwork.

Krasimira has been part of the Sopharma team for seven years. As a Senior Media Planning Manager, she is responsible for planning and executing advertising campaigns for the company’s brands in Bulgaria and across international markets. She works closely with media and creative agencies, as well as with Sopharma’s sales and brand teams. Last year, she was recognized as an ambassador of the value Accountability.

“To me, accountability means being someone people can rely on and trust. It means looking for solutions when things are challenging, staying resilient in difficult situations, and maintaining a positive attitude and a smile. It also means being honest, supporting your team, taking ownership of your responsibilities, and delivering on time so that others can move forward with their work”.

Silvia has been part of the Sopharma team for more than 30 years. As a Senior Systems Analyst, she is responsible for the administration of the company’s ERP system and contributes to the effective operation of processes and teams across the organization. She was recognized as an ambassador of the value Integrity.

“Integrity means treating people fairly and respectfully, honoring commitments, and taking responsibility for my actions. I believe integrity is about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching and when there is an easier path to take. It is the foundation of trust among colleagues and effective teamwork”.

Valentin has been part of the Sopharma team for nearly 20 years and currently serves as Chief Engineer in the Engineering and Technical Operations Team. Last year, he was nominated and recognized as a Sopharma Values Ambassador, an acknowledgment that came directly from his team.

“For me, the essence of the value I was nominated for is continuous self-improvement and development, as well as sharing that knowledge and those skills with the people around me.”
